The Research Team

Charles is a senior lecturer at Oxford Brookes University and the  leader of the Shelter after Disaster course at CENDEP. 

Bill  is  CARE International UK’s Senior Research Advisor. 

Sue  is one of the Research Assistants, based at CENDEP.

Jamie is Shelter and Settlements Technical Advisor for Catholic Relief Services (CRS). He has worked on shelter and infrastructure programs for over 20 years for the Red Cross and other NGOs .

Olivier is a lecturer at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Grenoble. He

is an associate researcher of CRAterre laboratory, AE&CC research Unit. 

Cecilia is an independent consultant. She was formerly the Global Shelter Cluster's focal point for technical coordination at IFRC 

Enrique  is an associate researcher at CRAterre, AE&CC research Unit. He is particularly in charge of Shelter response profiles.

Emma is a Research Fellow in the Global Risks and Resilience Programme at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI).

Sonia is an Independent Consultant specialising in Shelter and Settlement. She has worked for the Red Cross, INGOs and UN Agencies in the last 17 years.
